Double Contour Traverse
I'm very excited to introduce the new Double Contour Traverse necklace. The next generation of everyday, eye-catching, lightweight rope wear.
Double Contour Traverse is that first bit of elevation when you are striking out on your path, when your breath quickens.
The development of these new designs took me places I hadn't imagined, and even when I got turned around, or found myself rushing, this necklace would slow me down. In order to maintain the balance and symmetry each line and point of binding is attentively considered. It's easy to wander off the path at this elevation.
Refined craft with an experimental touch. There is no direction, try flipping it over, still traversing.
Hand-dyed 100% cotton rope. Wrapped details in mercerized cotton yarn.
Constructed from one length of rope, then dyed, rinsed, and dried. That's not all! Then I take the fine 1/8" rope which holds the entire necklace together and bind it at points along the length of the necklace.
No clasp; fits easily over the head. Can be worn 4 different ways; flipped around and turned over.
Length: Approximately 12" drop from the shoulder.
