The Directrice
Washington D.C. lawyer by day, style blogger also by day, The Directrice, reached out to me this summer and ordered the uniquely shaped Stirrup necklace. I had no idea that she would be writing this excellent post, putting the necklace in a much broader historical context.

This artist, Seth Damm, works in rope, which he hand-dyes and fashions into sculptural shapes. This particular necklace is one of his more conventional designs. I love everything about it.”
